impossibles might be impossible cuz you have to wrap your foot around , and to do that you need to be off the ground already (the trucks), with a wakeskate your already on the ground(water) so you couldn't really do an impossible it would be more of a 3 shuv. But who knows

You don't have to hook your foot under; it's like I said before, most street skaters do impossibles by ollieing into them (technically it's called an "ollie impossible," though, but whatever.)

greg, yeah you are going alot slower on a skateboard(unless you're doin it over a 20 set). but you also have to think of the surface area of the skateboard compared to a wakeskate, and the weight to surface area ratio.

o im not saying its going to take a while for the sport to progress to this point and once it does itll still be hard as hell but im saying there is no way that its not posiable its just harder then on a skateboard

Actually an impossible might be easier on a wake skate. Reason is a skate board is way heavier then a wakeskate making the board easier to flip around, but like Todd, said the wind my catch it or something.

Just learn to do the motion with your back foot on a skateboard, without even standing on the board. Then I would move on to actually learning impossibles on a skateboard (do the same thing, but jump and suck your front foot out of the way like a shuvit), and then take it to a wakeskate, I guess.

Sorry, I thought you were talking about hooking your front foot under the board like a freestyle trick. Actually it does seem like the board would be too big to get it around properly, but who knows? It seems like it might be possible if you could get high enough in the air to allow it to spin.

What, skateboards are heavier? It's been a while due to 3 exams this week and weather related issues since i've held a wakeskate, but aren't wakeskates heavier?

But anyway, even if they we're lighter, they are too big, making them too difficult to flip them around.
