ive had my 06 anthem since, well 06, its been riden on water, snow, trampolines, run over by the boat, and is still in great shape, minus a few paint flakes missing

ollieshuvitz, lol <3 ive seen like several threads on here latley about busted LF's... I wrote a really good post about it in the last one stating some facts, ill go find it really quick. and IM it too you. Im not trying to be negative... its just LFs seem to always break...and its not suprising. Neutral

wood is alive and full of life.....that and lots of water, then it dies, its cut, dried, glued, squished, shaped, (hopefully sealed), then clearcoated.

in this process there is about a thousand variables to maintain. if you miss ONE the boards junk. ie: too much moisture in the wood or too little, poorly mixed glue or epoxy, old epoxy, careless lay-up, bad glue application, weather outside the shop while building em, wrong preassure , bad mold, bad sealent, hell.... bad wood. you get the idea.

my point is. when you make as many boards as LF does and ONE thing goes wrong it it may not be found for a while or a bunch of skates. LF doesnt know if a board is going to delaminate just by sniffing the outside of it before it leaves the plant... the board must be ridden to find the flaw. people act like theres some guy thats just stuffing boxes with wakeskates they know are bad.

another thing to think about is wood wakeskates are only as good as the WORST ply in the lay up. so a 13 ply skate has 23 glued line surfaces that can fail.....and.....if its in the middle, well then its toast.

oh god i would love to have a chat with Chet Childress <(sp?) about people trying to return a broken skateboard to the store for a warranty. hahaha. i hope some people understand what i mean. ?

Today more ply broke off the bottom. To the point where it won't even ride, and just drags where the broken wood is.

It's cool though, the Devotid Movement is one hell of a board.
