so when doing a kickflip is it best to kick straight down or to kinda roll ur foot like on a skateboard..?

theguynextdoor0, dont kick it straight down, but if its to tricky dont asume that you have to flick it as extreme as Ben Horan's B E A utiful kickies. Find a happy medium. Style comes with time, so if your first kicky is super mobbed, who cares? You just landed a kickflip! And NO ONE is going to take that away from you. Once you get more used to the trick you can try to start to flick them more, if thats a problem for you. But most wakeskaters I've seen flick their kickies at least a little bit (Drew Mcguckin is the only exception). Go with the flow.

to me if you catch it really high and stomp it, wheather it's flicked or mobed it still looks really good
