Camera Lens Question

Has anyone on here ever rented a camera lens. In August I am heading to Alaska and I would love to have a 400mm or 500mm lens to take with me and I don't have the $8000.00 to buy one. But I can rent one for about $400.00. So I just wanted to see if anyone has used one of these companys and how was it?

Just test it out before you use it for anything important. And get to the gym before you go because lugging around a 500 will wear you out. Laughing
