Eva isn't the best. Get some of that black tape that leaves nasty rashes/scrapes, its the only legit stuff

i have both i also ride the duce pop 41, and love it but the armada tracks a hell of alot better and doesnt leave the rashes and scrapes

That stuff is pretty expensive, much more than I had thought. I wonder how griptape would be on a surfboard...with bare feet ; )

jonnyuniteus, now to answer you question: i myself have spent several hours searching the interwebs to find stuff. even mailed plastic manufactures if they have eva foam. mostly without success.
one thing you can use for soft traction is those soft sheets they have at the hardware store, that you put underneath aquariums. another thing i just stumbled about, which could be used as well, are some "car door saver matts". those things are adhesive and you originally use them to line the walls of your garage so you won't slam the doors of your car directly into the wall. gotta ask my dad where he bought that stuff but i guess you can also find that at an hardware store or auto parts place.

I just bought a gator Doyle and the foam grip is great, I don't know if Gator sell them separately though but I want to buy a Devotid V2 and put some foam on top of it... so if you find something let me know.

Yeah, Gator Grip is expensive, but it lasts a long time, and stays on your deck. I bough the Kampus eva grip a few years back and it didn't stick woth a crap.

wow well i appreciate the comments, and i found some, gator grip is pretty bad ass and the camo is fn sweet, but i dont know if the guy who posted the grip tape comment knows many wakeskaters, but there is a shizzle load of pros who skate eva, including the man brian grubb. but its cool to each there own, and yo guy i do skate board, i have the eric koston girl board with indies for trucks, saw blade abec 7s with girl wheels, shake and bake baby shake and bake.
