funny thing happenned today

well, i was with a few friends out on Lake Travis today and we were pretty much wrapping up our set. We while we were putting things back up two teens were just doin there MACH 10 thing on their jetski around us going back and forth quite a bit and jumping their own wakes. So as im pulling in the rope, i see them approaching with just a huge smile and stops like 3 feet from the boat. He stands up and smiles," Hey dude! Can you like throw some sweet waves so we can jump them and you can watch!!!" Now I know most of you would just be laughing histarically <(sp) and I was in my head I promise, it was just so akward i just told them to just leave us alone and leave. He looks at me just in awe because I guess he didnt expect a no and how much of a dumbass he looks like. Just funny people are like that and have no clue for saftey and for the passenger. Funnier part was they followed us after we left and just drove 500 yards to come flick us off like 100 yards from our boat and i just mooned em. i just had so tell this funny event and would see if anyone else had a funny story similar

i was towin my bro on the ski once and this old dude in some like 20+ foot cabin cruiser comes up right between our wakes about 30 odd feet behind my brother, and so my bro edges out and tries a 3 shuv and falls and the dude in the boat stops and is like "you know you're sposta have a spotter with a skier on right?" I just looked at him Shocked

"are you fvcking serious dude?!?!?! you were just driving 30 feet directly behind him while he was riding!!!" he didn't say anything else, he just sped off.

I know someone that died cause a boat was making waves for them and they collided and the guy on the jetski died

The only thing jest-skis are good for is skating. other than that I hate to see them on the water

about two years ago, maybe more, we had a jet ski hit the tubes we were towing, people had to jump off to avoid getting hit

and nothing is more annoying than people trying to jump your wake

i hate jet skiers. At my lake we have a group of them we like to call the black knights. They are these like 10 or so black jamacan lookin dudes with dreads and no regard for other people in the water. Ive been nearly hit several times WHILE riding, a few times. Anyway. All they do is the Head Knight, or king, points to a specific place in the lake normally the most glassy of riding spots where i am slayshing, and they all rev up and proceed to go to that very spot. Then sit there for a moment and repeat this process not alowing any water to flatten out... its terrible. I hate the Black Knights.

it's too bad when you can't enjoy your three days off because of a bunch of inconsiderate pleasure boaters/tubers.

Yeah I hate the bastards that use them for "riding." I have one, but have never been out on the lake myself. It's not fun, its stupid, and just makes the lake choppy. Luckily, at the lake I normally ride, all the vagtastic voyage jet riders usually stay by the main boat launch, and the nice water is at the other end of the lake, so they're not too bad. But still, life would be better if they didn't let jet skis on the water unless they had intent to wakeskate/board.

this doesn't have to do with a jetski but it's a funny story:
so we were out riding saturday and im on the bow of the boat and look over and i'm like oh great another tuber....then i noticed the chick on the tube had no bottoms. we couldn't stop laughing and after she fell off she got back in the boat and took off her orange standard type 1 vest and revealed that she was topless as well....it was just the most random thing. then when she put her bikini back on she flashed our boat as we we're towing past. mid 30s i'd say and kinda

The best one is some fat a$$hole in a 14ft. jon boat with a 9.8hp tiller towing his equally fats$$ed kid in a toob right infront of me on the glassy side.i wanted to hurt that guy but its some Lake county inbred.I like the donuts the jetskiers do on the sweet side of the lake too.Im half tempted to shoot at them with the flare gun if they follow the boat too close when someone is being towed.No respect for ppls safety.

luckily our river is usually barren, barely ever other boats let alone skis, but when i used to ride in the bay alot. they always lingered around.id always say to them, yo the ocean is like 5 minutes away, go ride ur fvcking ski there instead of messin up the butta.

I ride stand up jet ski's and their great..But I hate the people doing donuts and stuff on their sit downs..and most of the time they dont look where and what they are doing!!!!!
Like one time I was wakeskating and some chicks are riding rite behind me on a sit down..an I fall and they ride up to us and go wheres are wake!!!
