I'm contemplating on buying a New. Is the concave the same for all of them? Because I want a 39' Pelican but it's a tad to short so I'm looking at Andy P's deck. Anyways if anyone can tell me what the concave is like on those board I's greatly appreciate it.

I have a 39' Pelican, and I'm pretty short, and even my back foot slips off sometimes, but not enough to make me want a bigger board.

Lousy Hero, u wont be dissapointed with a 39', i have ridden the pelican, the dub stix (40) and mcthrusts old coffee table for a board (aka the 43' Mogley). My thoughts.... the 39 feels a bit small (im 6 foot), but it shreds soooooo nice, just feels right. The 40' bi lev is the perfect size IMO, i wouldnt mind trying 40' for a concave and i think thats what the pastura model is, if u go for that, its just perrrrrrrrrrrrrrfecctt as flat water on a saturday. and well like i said, the 43' is like riding a coffee table.
The concave is a bit mild (well it sorta is for the pelican but still good) but the new way they make the boards is just Smash rad.
Whatevs ya go with, u wont be dissapointed, they are good board IMO.

Lousy Hero, im riding the 40 bilevel and love it. one thing i found strange was that the top deck is 40'' and the bottom deck is about 2'' smaller. kinda strange but im sure the guys at new have a reason for building them that way????? i love the concave, nice skateboard feel!

If your not comfortable with a 39, then go with a 40, 6'2 is pretty tall. do what you think is best you wont be dissapointed with any board you get from new, it just may take a little bit of getting used to but thats generally applicable for any new board your going to ride.

They'll pretty much make whatever you want for the most part. I'm 6'1'' 190lbs and I ride the Mogley which usually comes in a 40" but I just dropped them and e-mail and told them I wanted a 43" Mogley and they made it for me and it was only $175 shipped and that board is sick I love it

I did a search and couldn't find what I was looking for so I'm bringing this thread back to life . . . . How is the New bi-level ? I'm torn between the New bi-level and the Windsor bi-level. I know they're 2 very different boards but I'm currently riding a New and I really like the company, the people, and the service so I really want to buy from them but I'm not sure about the fact that the bottom deck is 1" shorter than the top deck. I NEED ADVICE ! ! ! ! ! STAT ! ! ! ! ! I'm 6'1'' 190-195 if that helps at all
