looks like you're edging out a lil far and then waiting to long to throw the trick, not that I can throw kickies but it's similar with other tricks in the flats

skimboarder, on my kickflips my feet are way closer to the center of the board at a little bit of an angle. and when you pop it dont throw your body so much

you got the motion down, i had the same problem when rotating backwards,

simple

when you edge out next time, try to take just a little more speed into the flats, bring that front foot of yours back just a hair on the board cus then the nose of the board will rise higher out of the water. Make sure before you pop that you let off your edge, think about sanding on the ground with your weight centered, thats how you should feel on your board before you initiate your trick. good luck with em buddy

thanks alot everyone for the tips, i'll try them out tomorrow!

i dont' know why i edged out so far, it just felt right at the time. on shuvs and everything else i'm alot closer in. and like i said, it probably doesn't help that i wait until about 3 hours of skating to start trying them.

dont wait as long in the flats. Cut out, flatten off, and BLAM.

yeah i agree with what everyone else said, it looks like you started to sink in the water, which ended up with a less solid of an ollie
