beardo, right man! the bottom one is a Comet 40 7,5" Driven Unit. i'm lazy so i didn't bother drawing out the belt or the chain. otherwise you would easily see.
we'll have a releasing sproket on the spool axle too. i'll be adding some more screenshots as i will proceed in the drawing process.
spool walls are being laser-cut right now

I like the way you recessed the bearings in the frame. Super tech.

pipo, almost (ein>eine)! totally understandable though
rope is some yellow 3mm dyneema with breaking strengh of 500kg. don't quote me on that though, better ask wakeskatedude.
first pulls will hopefully be this sunday.
CGA PFD, thanks bro!

the original TAV's with the floating second axle allow for a much thinner frame width !!!
great job man
i would put a plastic spool guard on it thou, stops the engine getting all wet and stalling

- no water absorption
- with cover from LIROS-Protect also applicable in cleats
- very easy to splice
- also available as Magic-V-Pro in Vectran
- LIROS-HEAT-STRETCH-SYSTEM

CGA PFD thanks,
that is the hard way (recessed the bearings) but it looks better,
it takes 6h to make it (measuring, using angle grinder, measuring, welding, measuring, using angle grinder, measuring, make corrections, ..... a life for hours like a metalworker )
the pull is unbelievable
