Snapping Turtles

anyone ever run into any of these guys? or do they pretty much stay away from riders, because there are a few at a winch spot i wanna hit up and i was wondering if they should be anything to think about

turtles are scared to death of people. i had a pet turtle and he was scared of me.

when i skate up in coves the turtles that are there always drop in and swim away when we approach so you should have no problem unless you like antagonize them, they only snap in defense. you should be fine.

I don't know about turtles but manatees aren't afraid of riders from what I learned today...my friend rode one. They scare the shizzle out of you when the surface right next to you when you fall.

The real big snapping turtles could easily take a finger or a toe off. If they wanted to.
