2 of my friends were playing Flag Footbal in team sports yesterday. Both were running in opposite directions for a pass, and they collided with one headbutting the other directly in the temple. (completely accidentally)

As soon as they hit, my friend that got hit in the temple ruptured an artery in his brain, and his brain shifted in his head, causing him to be fully braindead instantaneously. He started having seizures, and a lot of people there tried CPR, but he couldn't regain consciousness. He was lifestarred to the gospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Talk about a freak accident.. Sad

are they(the system) caling it an accident or are trying to put charges on the dude for manslaughter

No, dude, it was completely an accident. It was just an innocent game of flag football that went horribly wrong..
No one's blaming the other guy.

and thats good cuz i have seen stuff like that happened and they put the innocent guy in prison for like this 8 year old kid accidentally ran his r.c. car into a guy riding his bike and the guy had brain trauma and ended up dieing and they put the kid on deathrow..ridiculous

But yeah, now that today at school is over, i think everything's gonna be okay.

wow i cant even imagine being that poor kids family... so crazy. Im so sorry man hope your school brightens up, it truly is so sad.

theres no positive to these kind of stories i hate that, and i'm willing to bet no more flag football allowed in your school district

that's terrible man. i also feel really bad for the other guy. he's gotta live with the idea that him colliding with that guy killed him. it's good to hear nobody is pressing charges though. i hope your area brightens up.

Nah the father of the deceased son had a long talk with the other boy involved. And basically told him. "Dont you worry, or feel bad about this. It was his time to pass. You are in no way in the wrong." Which is awesome that the father recognizes this. However if I was the other boy involved, I wont be freaking out

sorry man. i've lost 3 close friends. the da tried to prosecute another friend for it and i called him and told him off. its an awful thing and it never gets better. more people you know die.

This whole thing is crazy. I've talked to his dad a few times, and found out from one of his dad's friends. Its hard to believe something like this could happen. Very sad.
