Here's a skate that my buddy and I made........can't wait to go try it. It weighs in a little heavy I think at nine pounds. What's everyone's thoughts on the weight issue?

Must be trick photography.........it's not asymmetrical it's just the angle that it's leaning against the wall combined with the angle of the shot.

Boogz1, yes I have made 6 so far. my first one was about 8 lbs. To get it lighter I had to use less fiberglass resin. I also made a little one for my daughter (Wake) it is 4.5 lbs.

I will go home and see if i can find some pics...

Homemade skates are bad ass, Im doing what I can to make my 2004 hyperlite scape 112 be as homemade looking as possible. I've already done the graphics to it, next Im going to change it to grip, and then maybe when i get an integrity I will take a router(sp?) to the edges and try to get a wakeboar style edge to it, and I was thinkin I could jigsaw the tips to put a new shape in and try to really change the ride of it. This is all to the scape by the way...
