it seems like the articles that websites run about pro events are all the same. there's a larger paragraph talking about the sponsors than there is about the actual event! all they say is who got first, second, and third. people actually want to know what tricks they did.

i think thats a very good suggestion, ill second the point about how there should be more information on what people actually did to place.

I agreee, but there is only so much I can do from my house in Louisiana. If I had the means to fly around the nation and cover every event, I would be happy to. Otherwise, I have to rely on the syndicated news feed or a volunteer to cover the event. Currently, Wakeskating.com doesn't make enough money to hire reporters, and nobody is exactly busting down my door to volunteer their time to cover events, therefore, I have to rely on the news feeds. At least I don't just copy and paste it like the other sites do. I try to put my own spin on it, but the feed doesn't offer much extra information besides the winners.

Dave Barousse, if I had know you guys wouldn't have any body at worlds, I would have gladly reported for ya, next time Im going to an event here in cali Ill PM ya if you want, I'd feel guilty about hangin around here all the time if I didn't at least try to contribute in a positive way.

when ever thers a comp in orlando i try and go to film, i filmed the first pro tour stop. dave do u have a job or does ur .com keep u funded?

Feel free to submit your footage if you edit it up. I have a full time job, plus run this site and several others. I also have a wife and two dogs. I stay pretty busy.

Dave Barousse, no prob, I know how it goes, Ill keep you abreast of the events I'll be able to cover, I go to worlds every year and I try to go to any big events tht go down in havasu as well
