Dieter is definitely a killer wakeskater. I had the fortune of meeting him during the Oakley team trip to South Africa last year, and now get to call him a good friend in Florida. This shot appears in the newest issue of Alliance that just hit shelves. I took it during a last-minute sesh on Lake Virginia in Winter Park behind Jeff McKee's Nautique. Dieter's indy backside 180 is better than a lot of wakeboarders, that's for sure. But you should see the sequence of a trick we got that same sesh that's going to run in a future issue... I don't post on the forums much, but I think some people thought this photo was taken by a different photographer during a different day, and since I took it (and take pride in my work), I thought I'd clear any unknowns up.

Nice work, bru. Go team!

Nope, no chase boat. I'm actually in a tube tied a few feet longer than Dieter's rope. If you look really close you can see the line coming from the boat to the tube.

Also, if you guys want more info on Dieter and want to see some more sick pics (including a sequence of his indy backside 180), check out his little interview at Alliancewake.com: http://www.alliancewake.com/article_details.php?id=3599&page=2

He rips and he's nice. He spend 15 minutes straight riding around the cable, hit not rails, and trying to tricks, just to look for Jama's shoe. sick nasty
