Didn't find much in the search funtion...

Why is the armada not popular? Is it because of its material?

I like to treat my wakeskating kind of like surfing, carving a lot and mainly just screwing around on the surface. I have not yet advanced to aerials yet.

Will the 3 fins help me track significantly better than something like a control with only 2?
Will this board keep me from progressing(surface shuvs, kickflips) I am trying to just get one board that I can ride for a long time.

Thanks for the info and sorry for the bland topic.
Brandon

Some one said the new one is really heavy. But for surf style you dont really need any fins. If your going with LF get the control or pro models. It also has a foam top which maybe what you want.

BPLF1, just get a flat deck that will last you a long time, you will have more fun on that, its pretty much made for what you want to do Smash

concave shapes are for more advanced riding, it helps so that you can feel where your feet are on the board, and if you're not planning on aerials, you might not need something like that.

Thanks a lot guys. I like the control model and am leaning that way.
I think I will get a concave though bc if my riding does advance then I will have it and I can probly still "surf" it just as good.
thanks
brandon

Also, is the armada material just not good for wakeskating? not as good as wood?

I've come closest to a shuv late backfoot flip on one of those things. An 06 i think. Light as hell haha that's about all it was good for to me. I'd love to try this years though. I watched Hyams' little video thing reviewing it, sounds like it's gonna be quite a bit better this year Very Happy
