Personally I would go with oneill because there a dedicated vest company and spend a lot of time on their vest. You can find them pretty cheap on some sites just search around. Thats my opinion I'm not sure how much time they spend on their vest because they're a dedicated wakeboard company.

I'm not saying there aren't other companies that spend time on their vest. Ive only ever ridden a Oneill and so I was just stating my opinion. I'm also not saying Ronix makes bad vest I'm not sure how much time they put into it. Go to Oneill website it shows you what they've put into there vest.

Oneill makes nice stuff. I went through 2 last year. Broken zippers both times. I am sure this year will be better.

O'Neil makes great vests, dont get me wrong, but they are far from a dedicated vest company. They make, wetsuits, boardshorts, and many other things. I believe they also make surfboards.

Anchors Away, you like the helium vests? all the ones i've ridden in come unzipped when you bail on your side or the front fills with air and makes you look stupid as well as make it awkward when you ride.

kornhouse, I havent seen that problem yet. I agree, all the vests have different design benefits/faults. If you ride a neo vest they dont fill with air. My Guru's had the rear zipper placed in an awkward spot. Do what you like. Rolling Eyes

I have a helium and it's a size to big so I always get a rash on my neck, but other than that it's a great vest. I like the O'neill Guru better though or the Billabong comp vest.

magicace, zipper coming down is easy, just pull it up. When it breaks you have to throw it away or find a seamstress.

Then you end up riding the orange vest with all the buckles. that sucks....

The Helium is holding strong.

kornhouse, my next vest will be a pullover.
