anyone else amazed at how highs vet bills are... im seriously so broke now... my pup broke her leg

That's a bummer! what happened?! Yes vet bills are insane, I hear you can get health insurance for your animals but I just have a hard time justifying that. Bummer dude.

oh that sucks Jeff. A couple winter's ago I had just finished walking my dog in this huge blizzard and as we are walking up our driveway there was this small drift and my dog jumped it but landed on his right rear leg awkwardly and it broke. We had to wait to the morning to take him in. I felt so sad seeing him hobble around protecting his leg.

How did your dog brake it's leg?

i think she weakened it or fractured it a few weeks ago, i put her in the back of my friends truck so we could go inside and grab the winch and as we walked away she jumped out of the truck bed onto the concrete, she cried alittle but then shook it off and kept playing all day... then a week later she was jumping on and off the bed and just landed on it weird and it snapped... sucks so bad...

she had to have surgery and has to have that harness on for a few weeks... shell be fine hopefully but it put me back about 3500 so far... you never think youll be spending that kinda dough when you first get em

i would get insurance but its alittle late now... it would have saved me so much though

thats awsome your taking care of it, that is a huge hunk of change, sorry to hear, that cast is MASSIVE! poor little guy, hes young, and will pull through! make sure hes not jumpin outa truck beds ne more ahha.

JeffKnox, Sorry to hear this dude, my dog just had surgery on her hip it was pretty expensive. That dog is wicked. Im glad your taking care of ti and not puting it down to buy a new one!
