this summer I was thinking about perhaps building a bilevel. I would build the bottom deck, then maybe try to stick a skateboard deck on top. the bottom deck would be catered to the size of the deck. has anyone ever tried this before? I think I may have seen a post about this in another thread.....anyways, any help would be appreciated.

it would be pretty unstable with a skateboard deck and it would be hella hard to do shovits because the surface area would be so small compared to the much larger bottom deck

yeah it would probably be impractical.... but it would be fun just to mess around on to see if it would work. I built a board for a science fair project in november and it wasn't that hard and was fun. lol it would be interesting at least.....

ok thanks....because alot of longboard skaters use baltic birch. but maple is more easily obtained.

it held up fine, but it wasnt really worth keeping it together, so i took it apart and ended up breaking the skate deck on the tramp Laughing
