hahahah my bad guys, but the rail is suck a good design and im actually looking at building it this weekend, ya i dunno i think it shouldnt be a problem being one piece wide, Gnarly Dancer 42, is it worth spending the money on making it wider/ride on???????? o and i can hit rails on my skateboard, nothing like handrails but like a 2 foot flat bar and stuff i can hit _________________ FLOW MEDIA |

i think you're best bet is to just build the simple flat rail and if you want, pound one side in a little further than the other to have a little bit of an incline.
if you did that you could have a ride on without any modifactions
as far as making it wider, i dont think you need to, but if you want to just buy the top board 2wice as wide and buy 2 pieces of trexx _________________ http://www.stickandflick.com

MrMarbles,
What do you have on your drill, a plastic bag?
It's easier if you drill them in before you get the posts all the way in, do it when there's about a foot left, then pound them the rest of the way in.
lookin good _________________ √ |

Yea nick, I read that step about the pounding in later. Actually its a few ziploc bags and a publix bag duct taped on the drill. That's how we roll in Polk County. _________________

i built one today w/ my friends. i used 1.5" poles and flanges from home depot. we hammered the 10' poles in, screwed in the wood/fiberon, and hammered it down just a little more so that it's a perfect ollie height. we've got the 10 footers in about chest high water and i'm 5'7. this rail setup really lets any moron have a rail, including myself _________________ "I said take me to the sea, cause that is where I want to be. Not good being over this side of the pond, did a little reasearch and found that due to demand in the US trex no longer export.
Its all going on nicks rail design!!!!!
Gonna have to do some research and find a substitute. |
