I haven't ridden it yet but I stood on his to feel the top deck out and it's definitely not as extreme as that picture.

Good Job on the deck Stu!!! It looks like it will shred and hold up really well. The foam in between is a sick idea!!! That way water cant get in between them and rip it apart. Super solid.

ill clear something up. i believe that was the first proto and the kicktails were more extreme on it. his current one is not extreme and is super fun to ride for sure. yes its foam between the deck and yes he is way better than all of us on it...

I kinda like the way the skate looks, gives me a warm feeling inside to see the nicely shaped concave.

I've riddden super steep proto bi's before, and I gotta say: the pop is alright at slow speeds but the stance is way akward. You either skate with your feet over the "trucks" or your front foots gonna be really tired. you cant put all your weight on the back of a kicktail that dramatic. I must admit that I am skeptical...

Agreed. Just cause this piece does have two boards... the traditional view of a bi-level these days is a setup where the top board flexes independent of the bottom deck. Remember the "FULCRUM" debate last year or so. This board is closer in concept to the legacy with way exaggerated kick tails...

tahoe, its a bi-level YES, but not a new kind, its like the byerly legacy or the gator doyle

a bi level can have 2 advantages in my eyes:

flex - important for the height of the ollie (for sure together with the bottom rocker)
concave - important for control

the fulcrum effect??? i think its more the bottom rocker, but i'm not sure

the sst as example has only the advantage of the flex, and the byerly only the advantage of the concave

only flex = SST
only concave = Byerly Legacy, CWB Prototype, Gator Doyle, ...
flex + concave = Devotid, New, Windsor, Urth, Verge, ...
