SO i finally got my new engine all mounted and ready to go on the winch and when I tried to pull out the rope its way too hard compared to when I had the 6.5 HP on there.
Any idea? |

| take the torque converters belt off and put it back on before you start it up. or make a spool lock pin things so the spool can spin without pullin the chain. |

taking the belt off and on, on my winch was too much work, and it seemed to fray the belt so I dont do it.
like Alex said, releasing spools work great for this. Or if you take the Tav off you can go with a centrifugal clutch which will be easy to pull out, but not as clean of pull that you will get from a Tav. _________________ integrity-wake.com | chriscut.com |

| Thanks for the help. I think I'll be getting a releasing spool soon. |
