feelnjstfine, the mini just looks sexy and im actually quite jealous. now all you need is a pool gap at the factory and you guys will never leave.

Hey whats up guys? Wow, this exploded on here fast. Yeah that is Devotid's design. They have an OEM division to their company. Windsor Wakeskates is a new company and it just isn't economical for us to go buy a ton of manufacturing equipment to start up, maybe some day, but not right now. Devotid makes some sick boards and the quality of their work is like no other.

We take care of the graphics, the advertising, the soft goods, Devotid does the dirty work. Its a great relationship. What do you guys think of the graphics?

we make skates with custom graphics its no secret.

windsor are some cool guys with good intentions and that was important to us. were working on stuff to help them get going.

Yes we have a few other Graphics coming out. My partner in crime is a graphic designer for K2 snowboards, so he is working on a few cool designs. We have a few riders, as we speak, working on our own custom shapes and specs. As far as weight, I will have to throw it on the scale and weigh it.........

We will be having some single layer boards coming out also.

I don't disagree with the subbing out of manufacturing (that sounds weird)--like feelinjstfine said, it's like that in skateboarding and just as much or even more so in the snowboarding industry. the one thing that seems odd to me is not actually designing your own shape, or coming out with your own technology. It doesn't seem horribly productive to me to just put your name and graphic on someone else's shape/design, but that's just me. (and me saying it without having read the second page!)

Everybody likes the sample board, that is just to show how different colors print out and what different size fonts look like printed.

I like the Windsor logo with the broken target as the O from the bottom of the prototype deck. As far as the graphics examples so far, they are a little cluttered for my taste. Although anything with a skull shooting lightning out its eyes is pretty sick in my book! Smash

electricsnow, he said they have riders working on thier own shapes/specs. I can see using a tried and true shape design to start and then going from there for your own boards in the future.
