Has anyone heard when the board will be released? I placed an order in January and still nothing! I have called around and haven't really got a answer. Hoping someone can help.

Okay saw it...not much diff than my 2.0 except it's longer. Design...UGLY. Concave still abt the same...3stage. Hmm...what else??? do they sell with grip tape only or it must be blended???

blended ahahah Brian Grubb is easily the best skater of all time in my mind, but I have to wonder what the heck he is thinking with that blended top. Makes no sense. When someone has a good idea people tend to copy it in some form, not a single company has tried this blend. hmmm?

I don't really think it's that similar to the 2.0. It's a different shape this year--shorter and a wider nose and tail. the kicktails are steeper, there isn't any center ridge feature...I can't remember the concave, like if it's much steeper or not, but it was definitely deep last year.

realistically, there aren't even any companies that would need to copy it, outside of LF because nobody else really uses foam traction...I think pretty much every other company who makes a legit concave wakeskate uses grip tape.

I still prefer grip tape as opposed to blended or foam.

JinHan, mmmh... its not even remotely close to a 2.0 in any way other than its a hyperlite and compressed molded...

I was pretty impressed by the shape when I saw it... Its much different that the previous years... It has a few features that are also on the Vinyl...

robdeman, you should try calling the shop you pre-ordered it from... but the news on the street is April so time is approaching... Its a mix between the Vinyl and the old grubb... but also something different as well

i dont know why so many people hate on the graphic. it is sick. i never expected a graphic like that from hyperlite because the casual boater might be turned off by the graphic and that is who usually buys grubb's board. but im pumped on the graphic

Still nothing.....I have heard that they will be sent out in July. Has anybody heard anything different? Yes I made this order in January!!! I feel bad for boardstop because I am driving them crazy and its not there fault!! Hoping hyperlite can figure something out because I am not to happy with them right now!!!

If anyone has any information please let me know.

From what I am hearing that the 08 will not be released.....They are releasing the 09s early....But I had heard May and now its freakin the end of June!!!
