I've been wakeboarding for a long time and have decided to pick up wake skating.
I've narrowed my choices for new board down to the following:
1. GB Impala
2. Oak Flake Flippin Flapjack
Which one of these two do you recommend. (or another if these are way off) |

I have ridden both and personally I like the Oak better.
IMHO
But it all depends on the rider. Justin kills it on the impala so its really all what you feel comfortable with.
Do you know any wakeskaters? Maybe ride some of their boards and see what you like. _________________ http://www.wakeskateclips.com/ |

If you're considering the Impala, I'm gonna assume that since you're a wakeboarder you might be looking for a composite skate like all wakeboards are. I say go cheap, but good and get the Gator boards "Timmy" It's cheap as hell at boardersmall right now and on ebay. I wakeboarded first as well. I like woodskates more though. But I have been a skateboarder for like 15 years. _________________ http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/ |
