awatts, i am 170 and 6'3 and i have a 8hp on my pulldozer, if you have a quick gap, you'll need the power to get you to speed like in 2 seconds. Trust me, Bret sits in his lawn chair like 20 feet from the gap haha and he trusts me so Im stoked and so am I about my winch. Lemme know if yall have any problems with your Pulldozer I would be happy to contact Ryan for ya'll

De Oro-I have a homemade winch with a 9hp Suby moter...it has been flawless other than the spool being a little on the tough side to walk out quickly. I was just commenting on the fact that I want to have my spool release like the Pulldozer I saw.

Ken sent me this aswell, he is just a tool ugh:
"Sweet looking winch... Thats the first 08 Pulldozer I've seen.
I'm happy to see Pulldozer used our disengaging spool design with that release pin, and used our idea of a detachable hitch mount. Winching is really starting to come along
This is top secret, but we have developed a disengaging spool that requires no interaction between the winch and winch rider; the rider just needs to pull the rope out, and it disengages on its own.
We are currently building our Baller Winch, and it should be completed around the first of January. Here is a sneak peek at our 08 aluminum spool sides; this one is just out of CNC, and still needs to be wet sanded and polished; just a little taste at what is about to come."
Released, did you make this spool I posted? and are yall the ones making this THING Ken is raving about.... I would fall on the floor laughin if he is lieing about that too

De Oro, well get ready to laugh. i am glad to see you also noticed that ken used the words we and our a lot. i cant say much about the "baller" winch other than i have never heard of it hahah. powdercoated red frame + "bullet lines" custom spool = Baller Winch?? That spool was made by us for ken, he wanted a custom spool with his company logo. ken does not actually have any interaction with the winches, custom spools, or even super cool top secret plans

Like I said before, dont listen to his ideas on winches, he has a engine in a litter box with mouse wheel as a spool. And from people telling me you doin burnouts in the grass at Metro, thats just bein a 16 year old with his first car, hell maybe a 14 year old takin his dads car for a joy ride. Lighten up or get out. your negativity is just like your riding, ugly |
I didn't know humans could talk out of their ass
does it hurt to talk out of your ass oury?

released, ROTFLMAO!!!
I dont see why he calls me out so much and he only does it on my local wake forum, maybe the fact I live 40 minutes from him and he feels im a local threat to his sales. Maybe I am, because I like to meet my customers in person for them to ride behind my winch before they settle on buying one without any experience. I had no idea yall made his until I just put the two of them togething in a picture and saw the resemblence.
I like how ya'll are takin this situation, just sucked it had to happen but I cant wait till I get down to Florida at the end of this month. Building winches is like building wakeskates, everyone gets ideas from competitors and thats how you grow and innovate as a company. Schmaltz said it himself in the ERA Thread, "Innovate not imitate"

-LoGiK- ive never met you and if i do clear everything up with me. until then the "crew" you winch with sucks
who said anything about trash... picking up trash is just necessary imo and everyone should do it.
Respect is when you can talk good things about a crew and you want to ride with them, thats not the case with DVSKATES crew because he destroyed a new spot near howell. i dont like people like that

De Oro, I said something about trash because I guess you refer to me as a crew or something and that we destroy every gap and disrespect them, so I mentioned that I pick up trash which is the opposite of destroying a gap and definitely not disrespecting one. And by saying the crew I winch with sucks is going out on a pretty big limb cause I winch with quite a few people and not a limited "crew" so please take that word out of your head and never refer to me or anyone I ride with as a crew cause were not. Also what gap did andrew destroy, because this is news to me. Or are you doing that trick where you talk out of your ass again.
and about the whole "meeting" thing was that a threat?
thefunky31, phone works both ways

This thread is the kind of shizzle that made Nick leave. Quiet yourselves and talk in PM's if you have problems with each other. We really don't need this type of negativity of a forum made for a bunch of riders who come together to share their love of wakeskating.
