U think a wakeboard co. has their nose up there?.....the jewelry industry is incredible......u have to crawl inside someones ass...........
it just sucks that a mag like lasewer that is up and coming gets no chance.......

Thefunky, the industry is small and there are a lot of people fighting over a small amount of money. Do you see any ads on this site?? (and our rates are way cheaper than any print medium)

Those are actually carry over ads from wakeboarder.com. Boardflix and boardstop are both ed's companies (he owns ws.com and wb.com) and those other ads are from wb.com. Nobody actually pays to specifically advertise on wakeskating.com

It is what it is. I'm personally thankful that ed is still down to keep the site going, and I'm sure the la sewer guys will continue to do what they do. Advertising affords some nice benefits (like being able to move your work to a different medium), but you don't do what you do for the sake of money.

electricsnow, There is barely any money in wakeskating. . It just sucks that there was this idea they had and now its flushed from lack of support in teh industry.
