hahaha, I actually did just buy a pair. When I went to orlando this past september, performance had a pair of each original mesh DVS dresden. I just bought the black ones for lookin' cool, and as I thought about it, I decided that I wanted the yellow and green ones...they're kind of iconic (in my mind, at least) and they were both the first offering of a wakeskate inspired shoe from DVS, and a legit skate shoe company in general. So anyway, the shoes I have are a size 13, and have been sitting at that store since 2004. 
but I just said that because of your avatar, and the guy who founded wakeboarder.com went to that same university and said he wanted those shoes because they are the same as the school colors for that same university. (The university of oregon?--Steve prefontaine's (sp) former university?)

electricsnow, correct-a-moondo. Pre is my hero. And I want to go join the OTT crew after I graduate. I'm a Ducks fan through and through, even though they didnt do so hawt this year.

I'll just make one last post in order to halt my hijack...
When I was really into cross country and track and field I was a huge Steve Prefontaine fan. That movie they did with jered letto was really good, and it's cool that nike has an entire line dedicated to that legacy. And it's not like I don't care anymore, but it's just not as big of a deal.

Hey, I heard Steve Prefontaine might be signing a deal with DVS for a new line of skate shoes with track spikes... is Boardstop going to be carrying those or the Wilson 4's when they come out?

HA, lknkampus has a poster of that dude. Soooo 80's. I think hes jogging straight at the camera. In my mind, hes got a huge mustache and a sweatband. Ray-Ban Aviators on and super short shorts! I think hes even smoking a ciggarette while jogging! Good times.
Like this but with aviators and a ciggarette. And possibly girls chasing him.

They won't actually be coming out. They're a team edition shoe. I know they really wanted them to available. I'm sure in the future they'll have more goods, though.
Since we're on the topic of dvs, has anyone gone to the dvs shoes site? The new line of shoes are up and I think these are the best looking shoes, as a whole, they've had in a long time. The huf 5 runner is back for another run (ha) and there are some really great looking vulcanized jobbies...some of which are black and orange, which I love.
