What are you guy's methods for this? I've done it before, bit it literally took 2 minutes, and that was last summer, i've gained at least 5 pounds since then. Is there anything special i need to do? Dock starting won't work, because there is no where to run from. Tips?

I'm amazed you got up with 15 hp. I will say this: when we have to pull a water skier with our boat, we need to put as much weight towards the bow as possible. Once they're out of the water, then the one or two passengers can sit wherever.

ive never got up behind 15, but i have on a 25hp, and on some winches that dont have tav's. You need to lean forward as much as you can, and also keep the board very flat underwater.

put someone in the front of the boat. and tell the driver and the person to jump up and down at the same time. that should do the trick. i have done it plenty of times

I've gotten up behind a 15...dock starts are the best way to go...and by dock starts I mean sitting on the edge of a dock with your feet on the board which is in the water...not the running/jumping on the board type of dockstart.

I was able to deepwater start behind it, but I'm only 140lb's and it still took a few minutes to get up.

If you don't have a dock that you can start off...start off the shore or a rock...or even a rail if that's what you're using the boat to sesh.

i get up on a 9.9 hp. Cool

I weigh 120, and it takes me like 15 seconds to get up. The best advice i have is to, as you get up, boardslide and switch your board from goofy to regular to goofy ect. This helps you get over the main start up stress.

Just lay on your board, hold the handel and wait for the boat to flatten out and reach its peak speed and try getting onto it from there. I havent tried behind a 15 before, but someone i was talking to at cable who rides behind an 18 said thats the way he does it

Wow, plenty of things to try. As for the things requiring another person in the boat besides driver, that won't happen, we only have one driver, and one rider when we do anything behind the boat. I'll try a dock start by sitting on it if the water is high enough. I'll also try moving the board around more.

Should i be starting standing on the board in the water or with it perpendicular to the boat like a wakeboard?

There is a certain point where the legs will cramp up, and this point is killer when getting up. I'm going out in 3 weeks, so we'll see what happens, any more tips would be appreciated
