That's cool el. I like the idea of having a quiver, and since it was an affordable option, I say "YAY!"
You'd better be careful with that pylon...I envision that thing being ripped right out of the boat...haa...
The boat I ride behind is older, but it's not wood. It's aluminum and it's from...the 60's or something (and the motor is from the 70's). Anyway, when I was hyped on wakeboarding I so badly wanted an extended pylon in it, but it would have gotten ripped out of the bottom of the boat (underneath the all purpose carpet is a wood floor). Now I have some 36-48 inch jobby (somewhere around there)...it does the trick. Before that the rope was attached to a cable thing at the bottom of the boat....so archaic. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

That sounds sweet. Does it have a pretty clean wake?
I'm thinking I would put the pylon where the ribs in the back area would be... Or something. _________________

Well...it's not all that sweet:) Once I rode behind a real boat, I was actually really appreciative of the boat we have because a) if it wasn't for that thing I wouldn't be riding period and b) the small wake really taught me how to edge.
The wake is clean, but it's not huge. Umm, it is bigger than a seadoo wake-ha. We tilt the motor up so the boat plows more water, and then I have five buckes that either have wet sand or rocks in them. It's funny, at this point I'm just happy there's a boat to use. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

I've ridden primarily behind a ski nautique up until last season. Now I ride with three different bros who have real nice wake boats. It's great being a mooch. Plus it's always a party when there's a wakeskater on the boat _________________

electric, I have made the fatal error of calling my swing a slide... swing, swing, not slide. Seems that the names are easy to confuse. To clarify, it is the one with the rounded ends. Cheers. _________________

I may have called it that too, but I knew what board you meant because I remember your review.
As the kids like to say "It's all good." Or am I out of touch with today's youth? Do they not say that anymore?
Wake DJ, speaking of chapparal, we used to own a couple of chapparal snowmobiles. I used to drive them around when I was young...then we "upgraded" to skidoos. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

morphine, i got to try it at odub... this kid had one and i asked to try it out and hes like hell ya. so i rode it and im pissed that my POS hyperlite scape has been holding me back from what im really capable of. took me 20 sumthin tries to land a 360 on the scape. on the k39 it took me, you guessed it 1 try! i love the board i will never support hyperlite skates again _________________ √ |
