yeah thats an elsinore.......cool thing is that its still race ready......

i am not sure what #chain they are but my though was that i could use some dirtbike sprockets...( i know how to make them work on the spool)
but u think it will make for a better pull or am i looking at too much trouble to mess with.......

yeah i bet.......i accuired a built winch that has (imo) some pretty small(underbuilt) gocart parts........i guess im used to seeing bigger chains and sprockets......but it wont turn the spool good enough when i load the 1000ft line on it.......but it works with a few ski ropes tied together.......so my thought was to change the gears and make the whole set up heavier(duty)

if not the line will just be a lot shorter

it runs now but im just trying to get the longest amount of rope possible

......idk what im going to do but atleast we have a good start (with all the info i have now)

SHOULD I JUST CUT THE 100ft down to reduce the weight and see if that works?????

or just do it right the first time, instead of having to redo it. That's what i'm finding out. You get what you buy! Don't expect to buy something cheap and assume it will last, there's a reason why the others are more expensive.

bt371's bike collection is on real. Granted I was a little srunk when I same then(or atleast some) I was freaking out. The variety and sheer numbers are outrageous!!!! Not to mention the trail bike courses and moto course at his compound are legit!!!

bt371, sounds like you need to beef your winch up then. Do you have a TAV or a centrifugal clutch?
