Seriously, always wondered this. Do you have to worry about sharks and stuff? I mean, I'm sure it's nothing to be all paranoid about, but is it something to keep your bananas peeled for?

No I grew up in Slat water and it is something that you ahrdly think about. Kinda like Growing up in Florida dn Worring about Alligators IF you grew up here you don't seem to be as worried about them.

I've slowly gotten over my fear of gators here in Arkansas. Being a duck hunter I've seen my share of 10ft. gators. I ride a river infested with them but have never had one problem.

I've seen a little 3-4 footer at our island spot but nothing bigger than that. We weren't riding that day either I don't think. The whole island is only waist deep and the water is perfectly clear. I'd be more worried about them damn sea cows.

what about the kid who was eaten whole in australia Shocked australia is def. next level

here in the bay in MD, there may be some small sharks nothing too crazy, when u try and push things to the next level.......the next level predators come with the turf

on the ocean, i have been bumped,.........hard. there are definetly some tigers, hammers, and rumors of great whites. yeah u thought they we're only in the pacific, i've seen some pictures of some big mofo's caught 2 miles off. and i've seen some big a$$ tigers wash up on the beach.... so, i guess it's always there in the back of your mind.

let's face it though.....we gotta do what we do, and depending on how much u love it....well i think bodizoffa said it best....

"if u want the ultimate, u gotta be willing to pay the ultimate price"

so if u get in that sticky situation, hit em in the nose and gauge the eyes, and drag him up on the beach and get a pic for wakeskating.com

back where I learned to ride, you used to have to worry mostly about jellyfish, but over the years I have seen some pretty gnarly Transient Ocra Whale attacks on seals in the same waters that I rode in... so that was always on my mind

When I'm down there I would like to ride one. Can you ride the manatees, or are they way to evil?
