This is a thread deticated to what wakeskating is to you. It can be anything that makes you feel good about wakeskating.

For me it is:

Friends
Adrenaline of landing a new trick
Bringing the family togeter under one bimini top
Meeting new people

Waking up at 6am to make it to the Lake by 6:30 getting out and riding for an hour b4 I go to work. Having an aura surround me all day afterwards is one of the greatest feelings ever. Chilling all day at work on ws.com still stoaked from the sick or not so sick set that went down in the early morning light. The old farts at work make fun of me because they see my posters and have no idea what it even is. No bother. Weekend. Winter Time which is non existent. Getting out as early as possible. Boats on the lake? There are none. Nothing but butter on this warm January day. Let me get just one more pull, im gonna land that shizzle this time. I cant find my board. What time is it? To dark to skate but were still out. Beer time. Tramp time. Bonfire time...

driving a jetski like super man around the lake as your boy stomps a HUGE shuv

driving 10 hours with your crew and riding owc all day everday for a week

the freedom and love that wakeboarding never showed me...

WAKESKATING IS.........something that was introduced to me by a friend and was hooked eversince. It may mean new tricks and all day seshions on the lake. Endless gas money and oil changes for the jetski. a time when you and your friends have to them self, unless some jerks are snagging your line. Wakeskating is a way of life and will be something that continues to grow on me. I <3 WAKESKATING.

it is the lifestyle,....... the air, the water, the scenery, the wind, the trees, the sounds of nature, and the sounds of the jams. It is the breath of life that i get there and only there. It is butter, looking at the water as in a way never dreamt possible. It is dreaming of the water and things you may not think are possible and they have come and gone. Waiting.......waiting to ride, for the wind to die, for the sun to rise, and sometimes to set, waiting for a deck in the mail or a new pair of shoes. Gripping a new deck, screwing in a fin, the rope toss, packing a cooler, gasing up, check the oil....the hitch and the trailer........or the new trailer for the latest flick. What about the look on a newbs face when they first feel the vibe.

It is the shuv and the kickflip......and all the variations that are possible that rings my bell. Testing yourself and beleiving in yourself, yeah i'm gonna put it out there, i may land it i may not. This is the excitement i can't stand to do without. The ability i have to suprise myself.

Expressing the freedom that comes with the turf. Yeah, that's my style.

Endless possibilities, being on the lake with your closest friends, watching your best friend, get up/land a shuv for the first time, and being a part of something that many people don't even know exist.
