I still love Asterisk. The whole vibe in that film is so good and I really like the saturated colors in the desert. The music's great too - Brad Mehldau playing Radioheads Paranoid Android on solo piano is awesome. The sport has progressed alot by the likes of TNT and RHansen but we still get to see some nice riding in there by todays standards, imho.

If you want to see an epic video part, pay for it.
ESPECIALLY if it's someone like Byerly that gets screwed by scumbags posting this stuff.

For two summers I started just about every morning with their part.
Those were the days...
also, all of Thomas' skating inspires me. Any video with him skating is a favorite...Asterisk, Sfumato and the Cassette sections in Fill in the Blanks are just a few...

true, that matt pond PA song went great with that part...aaron's inside out backbig and frontboard back big were sick, and the film kilgus uses always looks so epic

Aaron Reed's part in The Truth was epic.
Anything that Danny Hampson does makes me wish I had more energy when im skating.

I said this elsewhere, but if you like danny in issue 6, definitely check out push process. he's got a barrage of INSANE inside out tricks, and seriously crazy wake to wake stuff. Pay attention though because the technicalities in his riding are subtle. It's been great to see his progression though, just from sfumato to NARLA and now push process. YES!
labellethrasher, I couldn't agree more--another classic. i bought that video late and that section, along with the mexico section, was what I was watching the night before I went down to ride with you guys for the last time in 06.

don't forget the mustache! so true on the frontboard backbig, it was so great to see him fall once then nail it and then come back HUGE in Vol 2 prospotlight backbigg'n EVERYthing
and Matt P. kills it. he must watch wakeskating vids while creating songs.
