SKATE or TONY HAWK

I got a new xbox 360 for christmas. I got Tony Hawk's new game,but I think I want to return it for the SKATE game. Any opinions?

You guys are all wrong, I love being able to grind around the statue of liberty and then ollie straight to California and 360 over city busses. Damn, you can't even do 7 billion point trick combo's on skate. What's the fun in that?

I have every game from Tony Hawk including 1, 2, 3, 4, THUG, THUG2, American Wasteland, Project 8, and Proving Ground. I also own Skate for 360 and PS3. Skate is better if your looking for more realistic gameplay. (i.e. its much harder to do tricks consistenly on Skate than it is for Tony Hawks games.

once you play skate, nothing else can compare. I feel bad for the tony hawk franchise because it was the first skateboarding franchise and skate wouldnt exist with out the TH series, but Skate is sooooo much better

i played the demo a couple days ago at game crazy and im hooked. i wish i had a ps3 or xbox360 just for this game. it was so frustrating at first. maybe one day ill get a newer system then my nintendo 64.
