will the tournament game be different than the regular game when it comes out?

no, when the game comes out, you just start playing it as much as u want. your highest score is just recorded

Basically new tricks, changes in environment, and scoring has been fixed, you get a plus if you do a w2w kickflip rather than just doing it on the flats.

There's a number of hidden tricks also, if you do BS Shuvit 3 then a BS 180 you have BS big spin. I won't give away the list. Cool

Remember, it's a very technical game, so experiment on combos and you'll get those hidden tricks.

This time, you can't just stand over the wake to do a 'spin shuv 270 on' without being pushed out. There's a force acting on the wakes. I also decided to leave the crazy, unintentional, wake to lip tricks in there. Very Happy

Overall, not much has changed because it's still an online game and I can't add too much features like customizing your character and stuff because of file size issues. Who knows what the future will bring?

What you could do later on, after the tournament, add all the stuff you want in, and make it a one time download where the user can run it from his own computer and submit a score directly from the game.

Ah heh I don't know anything about programming, it was just a thought. But something else occurred to me, people could just send in a score that didn't really happen. I guess they would have to take a screenshot or something.

We have encountered a minor set back with the game as some files were corrupted last night. The start date may be delayed a day or so. If that does happen, the tournament will of course be extended by the amount of time it was delayed. I am hoping to have it online by tomorrow, but that is not a sure thing as of now. Just keep checking the front page of Wakeskating.com for details.

I'd like Monday, I'll be camping and skating all this weekend. Don't really wanna lose 3 days on it. Sounds stupid but winning one of those prize packs could save me a lot of my well earned money :S
