Show Me Your Southern Hospitality

So it's like this,

I'm coming down from Canada to interview at Nova Southeastern College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale area on the 18th through 21st, and considering that my interview will only take up a few hours on the 20th I need some help filling my agenda.

I want to get a feel for the area, to help decide whether I want to live in down there. Which areas should I check out? Which places are a must see?

If anyone who lives in the area is willing to show some southern hospitality and show me around I'd be stoked.

This could be your only opportunity to hang out with a real, live Canadian water dancing specialist.

FYI. No matter how many cowboy and camo hats you see while you are in Florida. This state is NOT considered "The South." Cool

But there are some bomb ass BBQ joints if you look hard enough. GEORGIA BOY BBQ FTW.

shane, Florida isnt really a "southern state" by definition used in the context of southern hospitality
