at first it felt like maybe wakeskating was trying too hard...but ultimately that's what everything is about, whether it's replicating a hand rail through a pool gap or a snowboarder thinking they're an urban gangster. (I should clarify and state that that last part had a dash of sarcasm. urban gangsters are goofy but they're replicating skating to the fullest.) The main thing is just adapting without being gimmicky. Either way, I think this thing is way sicker than trying to use a fin and saying you're smithing or feebling or krooked grinding.

25.00 isn't a bad price either. i was wondering what they were going to charge for those...

I'm prepared to get flamed. Let me start with: This is cool and I'm sure some sick stuff can be done on it.

But why do we have to be exactly like skateboarding? This thing is not even practical for normal wakeskating.

I don't skateboard much, but skateboarders flick their foot because it's the only reasonable way to do a kickflip right? I think? Why do we flick our foot? It's not even necessary. It just feels like we're scared to do our own thing for fear of being unlegit.

That said, this looks cool, and I'll probably pick one up.

RUSSIAN, a lot of people ask that with every new fangled lock in device that is coming out now a days: nugs, udders, iron, golf balls, byerly lock, etc. But the fact is it isn't something you are just gonna ride around with on your board. It will be on a board of it's own or put on before you use it when you are gonna hit a rail or ledge. It just isn't practical to ride around with any of them. With that said, of course it is gonna drag if it is in the back, but if it is just that ride to hit the rail, it isn't a big deal. If you are gonna go take a boat set with it I would recommend against that.

Are they as wide as wheels would be if wheels were on a skate? Looks interesting to say the least.

Frye, with nugs that isnt neccassarily true, ive had a few boat sets with 4 nugs on a skate and accutaly liked it. Creates a little bit of traction allowing you to land things more solid without sketch and such. I like it WAY better then having 2 large fins.

but you are right about the other stuff. i donno how fun riding around with 2 iron trucks on would be....

Frye, I understand all of what you said. I'm reffering to when your setting up for a trick. I know that you would not ride around with this setup. At wakeskate speeds I would think it would be difficult to ollie a board with something like this attached to the board. Coming from someone who has tried any type of devices like this, it seems that it would be really difficult to set up for a trick. That's why I ask.
