...because at Expo there wasn't any difference between the two. They were both 42" but one had the 40.5 graphic so everyone could check it out.

it looks like the graphic is going to be different. I'm assuming Dannys on the 40 in this picture. It doesn't have the black and white stripes on the side like the other one.

As far as shape goes I have no idea.

It actually looks like danny's on the current 42 (what was supposed to be, or is classified as the 07 model). They look exactly like that. The boards at the expo had different colored top decks. Reed's 42 is tan and the 40.5 is baby blue. And based on what I saw, there doesn't appear to be any difference in the shape of the concave.

someone just informed me with some SST info, which is that silas wants the 40.5 to be symmetrical. After that, it will have the same concave and nose/tail height as the 42.

i dont agree. my team machine is sick and although the tails arent to different i like the way board spins different both ways. im not saying its for everyone but i dont think anyone should say asym boards suck. i dont like bilevels but i certainly dont say they suck cause it fits people differently so lets try to be more understanding towards our boards of all different shapes and sizes
