I Hate...

...my car. Went in the ditch twice today. Its now full blown winter, and we have had a storm the past two days. The first time I was just messing around and lost controll and went in. Take note that these are farmers ditches, the deep mother fizzle. One lady offered a cell phone but I already had mine, I was using it as a last resort since I didnt feel like explaining to my dad that I was swerving on the road for fun, hit a really slippery spot and went in. After about 10 minutes of shoveling and watching people go by, my neighbor stops and pulls me out. I thnk him and offer some cash, but he refuses.

The second time was right in front of my house. I live about a mile out side of town and the ditches are still pretty deep. This time it was because I was trying to pull off the road right in front of my house so I could get the tractor out and blow snow. So I'm pulling over and the tires slip off the edge of the road and I'm sitting there with two wheels on the road and two off. An hour later my papa pulls me out.

All in all I wish I had that fourwheel drive Silverado/Tahoe like I wanted.

Moral of the story, when someone's in trouble, it doesnt hurt to ask if they need help.

I fell asleep on the beeline driving about 80 and went into the ditch in my f150 4x4 it was full of mud so no harm done. put the baby in 40 wheel drive and backd it out and this was like a canal water was up to windows. it was quiet dramatic.

uidzero, who me? nope me and my dad have hard ass time keeping from falling asleep driving lol. I usally wake my self before i go off the road but this time i had the cruise on 80 and i fell alseep after surfing all day on way home and i woke up in the grass freaked out and almost flipped the truck trying to cut back onto the road so i just went for the ditch

i have a 4x4.. but last february and i was snowboarding up in western maryland, and, as some of you know i work as a youth pastor, so i had a car full of highschool guys with me in the truck.. they wanted to do do-nuts in the middle of the road.. so i took them to an empty parking lot and we did do-nuts for like 20 minutes.. then as we were leaving we decided to try to carry a fishtail for as far as we could.. success.. then we kept seeing all these HUGE snow drifts, and we wanted to see how far into them we could go with the 4x4... that turned out to be a bad idea.. apparently there was a massive ditch under the drift. Shocked

OOPS we were stuck in a ditch and covered in a snow drift, in my WHITE xterra, at 2 am..

the snow was up past the doors and half way up the windows.. i opened my window and crawled out and after 15 minutes of digging and laughing a snow plow showed up and pulled us out.. they promised not to tell their parents. Smash
