the checkmates just came in.
THEY ARE SICK Shocked

if you liked the vapor you will love the checkmate. it is way lighter. they moved the zipper to the side and its only a half zipper. the vest doesnt open up like a jet pilot side zip, it has a stretchy neoprene so you wont feel the zipper. also all the segmented squares make is super flexible and the foam want shift around over time.

oneill is way ahead of the game.

wakemitch I like the sound of the Checkmate. All this fashion talk as of late is making me a little concerned about whether I will be considered "hip" in the upcoming season. What colors does the Checkmate come in so I can start coordinating my setup over the winter. I'll be skating something new in the spring Wink

and would like to look my best. Any info you have would be appreciated.

bryanbryanbb08, the checkmate doesnt have much give if any. so i dont think it will stretch out. even though it doesnt stretch it conforms to your body because the vest is flexible with the segmented foam
