Hey there guys...
Im new to wakeskating and was just wandering about board preferneces. Are all the boards the same weight, if not do you prefer a light or a heavy board...
If you can just help me out a bit it would be great.

Not all boards are the same. Wood=heavier, composite=lighter, Personal perference. Some like heavy(wood) some like light(composite), others like real heavy high riders(wood bi-level) As to length its all personal preference. Most people ride a 39-41inch. Probably foam for a beginner, grip for someone to wants to get better. Fins are also personal preference, however most ride without

wakemitch, 11?
That's a little much.. maybe if you're riding a bilevel.
About 8-9 pounds is usually the preferred weight of a single level deck. But of course, as anyone on the site will tell you, it's all personal preference. Try some out and see what you do and don't like. _________________ - Evan Molina |

WRONG
I know that's the current trend in wakeskating, but sacrificing maneuverability for a little more momentum is holding a lot of riders back.
You don't need a 13 lb. skate or even a 9 lb. skate to keep it controlled. Even Reed Hansen realized that when he started to get used to my skate for a day. _________________ √ |

I was just trying to explain my perspective. _________________ √ |
