Integ_TNT, My wife wants me to move to Detroit Lakes, MN. How many months of riding time do you get before its to cold to get in the water?

3 or 4, You can start in April with a wetsuit, and end in October with a wetsuit. 7 if you do it that way. You probably dont want to move to DL, WE fest is held there every summer and traffics a beach. My place is about 30 minutes from DL.

I usually start late May till late August

Where iam at in cali the temperature can be in the 70s but the water temp would be ....... Shocked

(cold) Especially when it's raining. But i am thinking of a new sport called dirt skating. It's like wakeskating but instead of water you use dirt Wink

Integ_TNT, Well she is from DL. I have been there multiple times. Actually ill probably be up there for xmas. There isnt much to do up there it seems like. Do you snowboard or anything during the winter or are you just bored out of your mind?

mr. Blond, I ride all year... well winch all winter... winching in the winter is the quickest and easiest way to stay warmer than boat or jet ski. Tips for winter riding. at least a 4/3 wet suit, bootys for your feet, gloves for your hands, and the days it's REALLY cold, and hood for your head. Jug of HOT HOT water to pour inside your wet suit to warm you up, Propane heaters for anyone not riding( the rider is the warmest, with all his/her moving round. Oh and if it's raining, and Quickshade will keep the guy filming and the guy running the winch Warm and Dry... I love winter time riding... when ice gets on the rails and makes it even faster....

Anyone wants to come to Oregon I'll show you how to ride in the winter. Or wait until my video comes out.. cause that will have it too
