| all it needs is a good buff job or painted sides. The boat really runs good and burns no oil, has new carpet, and trailer tires. I'll give you a really good deal on it.

get yourself a jon boat if you just wanna go flats, lip and in/out. waaaay cheaper on the gas. or try to get a hold of an older ski nautique if you wanna go wake to wake to.

| I have an '83 Supra Rider with monster tower, has a good lip and a big clean wake when weighted down. Fresh 350 and upgraded prop to hold 2000+ lbs of ballast, open bow...let me know if your interested...not really dying to sell because now that I have replaced just about everything it's a perfect boat

Too rich for my blood. Sounds nice but I'm going to keep saving for a newer moomba.

watchmego4it, quite honestly I think you're going to have a hard time finding what you want for $6k. Just my $.02 as a boat nerd/ someone who watches boat sales closely..

Col101 is the guy looking for the boat. I'm only posting in here. I'm going to be waiting for a about a $20K moomba in the right condition. I'm going to have to save some dough this winter.
Thanks for your two cents but you're giving advice to the wrong guy. Just wanted to make sure you're on the same page. The older boats scare me. I've got a 71 HD sportster that is a money pit already. Sweet bike but too costly to keep up with.

watchmego4it, sorry, I should have been paying more attention to who was posting what. Boats are money pits any way you want to cut 'em though. Good luck on your Moomba search, hopefully you find that cherry example next spring.

go to academy - Ask a sales represenative for the location of Marine Products and Accessories. Find the 12 ft john boat, now find the 25-75hp motor, now take a left into the main isle and walk 40 steps forward and too the right is the cashier, she can help you with your purchaces. Now would you like plastic or paper with that?

my honest opinion on moombas is that they are garbage. there are so many wake boats out there and they have probably the worst wake. i have an 82 nautique 2001 and its is as reliable as ANY other boat out there. and if u are looking for a nice skating wake and with a little weight a wakeboard wake, than the 2001 is ur best option, and dont cheap out when buying one of these, because there are so many half a$$ boat builders out there u can get a real crap boat. go with one that is proven works good, malibu, mastercraft of nautique etc etc..
thats my .2 cents

That's about as close as you're going to get IMO. For 5,300 that thing is a steal!

I have ridden behind the boat listed above many times this past year, and I think it is a good deal as well. If it doesn't get sold soon, I am going to help him do the minor work that it needs and he'll sell it for more in the spring. Get it now cheap and do the work yourself.
