NotSoBueno, probably noise and exhaust emission!? with an e-winch you'd have to steal electricity from a street light or something... or carry a generator with you all the time. so kinda pointless. an e-winch would make up for an easy and light design though...so maybe i should still follow that thought...

So an electric winch is 'legal' but you would have an extension cord drawing someone else's power....I still don't get why a cop would say this. Since when do cops care about exhaust and noise?

I do like the idea of an electric winch however....

with an electric winch you minimize the total number of mechanical parts but add a whole sh!tload of water sensitive elements...

however rixen had a professional e-winch out but it was like 4000€ if i can remember correctly. i witnessed it in operation twice and it worked well.... all nice and quite

t-Rex, i lived in windsor for a while. i got a work visa and traveled up the coast for 4 months. did a week in fiji too. it was awesome. when i was in brisbane i was doing construction in the mornings and washing dishes at night. the dishwashing gig was a sweet deal. they would feed me and pretty much make me drink while i washed dishes. learned some italian too.
