| ***Depending on spool set up and gearing. Kyle has that same motor and she struggles big time. Although if you reach past the throttle and go straight to the butterfly, we found it gives a little extra power on the pull up. Good idea to use a TAV2, also. |

would this motor work without a TAV? or am I really going to need one. Take into consideration our group of riders will be using this daily...This is not for weekend use... _________________ 10101 |

Classy, i would suggest investing in the TAV, since you are going to be using it frequently and you will want to be able to do deep water starts _________________ ~ www.integrity-wake.com ~ www.iwinchglobal.com ~ |

Thats what I was thinking. Ok, so it seems like every post about the TAV2 people are complaining about it, yet people are still suggesting it. I've heard a lot of problems with pulling the rope back out. What other problems are people having? And are most of them simple fixes? and does anyone have a link to dimensions for a spool _________________ 10101 |

I have a TAV2 and I installed it with locktite. I've had no problems all season really and pulling the rope out isn't that hard at all.
The simplest way to get around that is either buying one of Released Winch spools that you can pop the pin out and it free spools OR rig one up yourself. |

haha dude... if you cant pull the rope out maybe you shouldnt even worry about building a winch... haha that should be your last concern... if your that worried about it build a releasing spool _________________ PAVT since '05/'06 |
