any idea on how much a bi level weighs?
i mounted my devotid top deck to my hyperlite scape bottom deck using some skateboard bushings for trucks and it weighs 13.5 pounds. i was wondering if that weight was close to the normal weight of a bi level.
anyways i'll ride it today and i see if i like countinuous rocker over 5 stage on a bi level _________________ http://www.stickandflick.com

the weight of my bi-level is around 12 pounds. it is WAY more consistant on 3shuvs than my lighter 7-8 pound boards ive ridden. soooo much more consistant. _________________ www.devotid.com

the vinyl is probly between 7-9 pds. weigh yourself on a scale and then wieght your self again holding the board and see how much your weight increased. thats if you have a digital scale if not you can just place it on the scale.

i couldn't imagine riding a board that weighs anymore than my vinyl. But apparently the whole cassette team could kill it on 13lb bi-levels.

yeah it is like 13 pds. you wouldn't think that thing would float but they do kill it on the 13 pd boards. it is crazy. i can't imagine my 7pd homemade skate and then riding a 13 pd board.

cant really say cause i havnt ridden a bi-level yet and i hear that a lot of ppl love them. My vinyl weights quit a bit but i think it can pop it harder than most lighter boards out there.

mc.willz, i cant take pictures right now, because my two cameras are broken, but picture this:
this top deck:
http://www.devotid.com/page0007.html
and this for the bottom deck (bad picture of this board by the way)
http://www.hobsplace.com/images/store/hyperlitewakeskatescape05.jpg
anyway, i learned that i absolutly hate 5 stage rocker and that skateboard bushings work 10x better than rubber riser trucks
when i first got up with the Scape as the bottom deck i instantly knew it was going to ride really good. 5 stage rocker feels like someone nailed a piece of wood to the bottom of your board and its draging there the whole time, and continuous rocker feels like you're gliding on top of the water.
so my suggestion to devotid, make the bottom decks either continous rocker or 3 stage, and make smaller trucks or just use skateboard bushings-they work just as well. _________________ http://www.stickandflick.com
