I maybe wrong here, but it seems aaron reed talks alot about pushin the sport in the right direction, progressing the sport, etc etc. BUT, please tell me how making fun of another top riders style is helping at all. TO ME, this makes mr reed look a little bit concieted. An like everyone else said, wheelie is the Worst name possible, Theres no fn wheels to wheelie! maybe it should be called a floater or lift or someething who knows who cares. just ride and do things your way. geez just the way some you people think is funny. "oh just bc araaon reed said its wheelie then it must be a wheelie!hes soo cool! whatevr reed says stays! " ahh w.e this is the reason i havnt been looking at any of the online forums lately because all they did is piss me off. freak this im goin to watch the kings twolves game.

He never knocked any specific rider. He just had beef with surface tricks (read: no snaps) and he thought the name "manual" was lame. he never said brandon thomas looked lame, he never said ANYONE looked lame. And he even threw out compliments to byerly's old school "manuals" and grubb's wake to wake riding. If anything, he was dissing drew because of his wakeboarding peak in 96 Very Happy

Quite frankly, I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting good style in wakeskating. Granted, it can be subjective, but there is some stuff that obviously good and obviously bad.

So don't be misunderstood...just smile and enjoy the basketball game.

Parky, it acually does look like Richard Simmons on a board, but I wouldn't saw wakeboard, it kind of looks like a kneeboard, with sandal bindings, and a fin on the bottom. IMO

Wakesk8er1234, I know what you mean. When I met him at TWC and was with him for a week, I found that out. He means well, he just likes to joke, he is sarcastic alot, but a real cool guy.
