(vid link down below)

No doubt, wakeskating is badass... but I want to bring up another topic briefly, and it's much more important. If you're 18 or older, please make sure you register to vote. Presidential elections are next year, and every vote really does make a difference. You recall when Florida was the State that changed the outcome of the Presidential elections recently? Totally lame what happened there with Bush getting elected (IMO).

Anyways the whole point of this is I'm shocked to tell you there is a candidate who is actually worth your time, a guy who actually seems to give a shizzle about what happens to this country, and not only himself and his buddies. Ron Paul is currently a Congressman and you need to hear what he has to say.

The video is only a few minutes long, but so worth your time. I'm amazed at how well he explains himself and his position. He makes complete sense: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8BB3NrSpRGE

MR. WALLACE: So, Congressman Paul, and I'd like you to take 30 seconds to answer this, you're basically saying that we should take our marching orders from Al Qaeda? If they want us off the Arabian Peninsula, we should leave?

REP. PAUL: No! I'm saying I'm saying we should take our marching orders from our Constitution.

Oh yea, Ron Paul won the debate by a landslide... I like McCain, but Ron Paul seems like a much better candidate.

Also he's a republican, which I used to be but no more... Ron Paul could bring some respect back to the republican party IMO

OH, you horndogs will appreciate Ron Paul in another way too... dude is a freaking OBGYN, or used to be. He has delivered a TON of babies in his OBGYN career which is interesting because if you look at his website, he's pro-choice regarding abortion... he also says he does not believe it's the government's right to tell anyone if they are or aren't allowed to have an abortion. He is pro-leaving it more up to the individual States to decide on hot topics like gay marriage, abortion etc

He's not ruled by religion which is important to me. I mean there's absolutely nothing wrong with people who live breath and speak religion... but IMO it has no place in our government, especially within the President's office.

It's very important to repeat --- Ron Paul won't be in the general election unless everyone goes out to the primary election next spring (time varies by state) and actually votes for him. If you aren't registered to vote, or aren't sure, get on that now. Find out when your primary is, and vote for him.

Here you go (please click on the link):

taku, Ron Paul represents my political beliefs better than any of the other candidates...

Thought it was pretty cool that he won the Maryland Straw Poll last week, although that doesn't really mean anything. And he sure is a long shot, but I'll be sure to vote for him in the Primaries (and hopefully the General)

Agreed. I'm an Independent also, former Repub. Watching Ron Paul get worked up during the debates is strangely refreshing for me to see, because it's utterly ridiculous what's going on and he doesn't candy coat it.. he's ticked off too! He just calls a spade a spade and is wanting the opportunity to correct it and it seems like the others don't act like they really give a shite.

I'm 28 this year and the past 2 presidential elections have made me so angry for so long lol.. I hope R.P. makes it past the primaries because he seems like the best option so far.

yeah, unfortunately i don't think that ron paul will make it past primaries because government is a game ruled by money, and ron paul isn't as stacked as the others.... and he has this skill where he tends to piss off big corporations Smash

he is taking the easy way out, and failing to voice an opinion on issues that are so severe that they threaten to divide the great nation that we all love and hate.

IMO take a stand. voice an opinion. DON'T HATE OTHERS WHOSE OPINIONS DIFFER FROM YOURS, but don't "cop-out" and take a "non biased" stance on issues like that.

t-Rex, how is that taking the easy way out? hes seems more concerned about national security and saving american lives, than worring about whether or not you get to marry your boy friend or get rid of your baby.
