i can throw them perfect almost every time but when i try to land it i usually land crouched down with both of my feet together on the tail leaning back to far and the handles gets ripped out of my hand and if i try leaning forward it either catches edge when i throw it or i bounce off when i land on it. im trying them hs in the flats
tips anyone?
(i have checked older threads) |

try not to lean back as far when you throw it. Its most likely causing you to throw it too far out in front of you. _________________ Some people make birdhouses, some people knit sweaters. I star in high-quality pornographic films. To each his own... |

stay level, throw it like you're doing a fs 180 and land over your toes.
just keep trying them, it helps me to do a few fs 180s while focusing on landing over my toes before i try them too _________________ http://www.stickandflick.com

bobby211, Space Ghost, IF your landing on the board and slipping out its cause your not centered more then likely...... give yourself a little cut away from the wake and then FLATTEN OUT... thats the key. When you throw it your board shouldn't be on edge at all... make sure you land over your toes chest up looking at the beach on the other side.......
hope that helps... _________________

finally got it today, i think before i was cutting way to far into the flats so it was harder to land over my toes, i tried them close to the wake and it was alot easier, so stoaked i finally got it.
thanks for the tips everyone. _________________ Team Dream Sleds
