electricsnow, 14 ft. high frontside flips aside, Drew is a modern artist.

His metalwork and sculptures are the envy of Thor himself.

RLAND was the jammer hammer. It kinda sucked that the lights guy turned up the lights during the credits though, lots of people missed out on some sick shots in there. Who stayed for the credits? Did u see JD jump the eola fountain??? that was insane, im pretty sure thats the only footage of him jumping it that the discovery channel doesnt own...

did anyone see aaron reed last night??

che blanc, thanks for the 411 (yo). I hear he's a metal worker of sorts. I love that. I just didn't know he was an artist of any sort (outside of a performing artist on the water, as we all know).

Anyway, i heard that the ordered copies will be going out in the mail on tuesday morning. So hold your horses, because this ride is about to get wild...

The premiere was awesome! I couldn't believe that the Dolla Lama had artwork! He is a local legend! I thought Mr. Soderlind did a great job except for fumbling words up on stage, oh yeah and I heard there was supposed to be T. Horrell appearance in the movie, did anyone catch that?

$5 beers, ewww. Drew McGuckin's art went from being pristine work of art to haggard by the end of the night. Drunk people and fragile art don't mix. Crazy Eyes The film was sick though, BGBT had some big parts in this film. Prety epic film though

drew had some pretty amazin stuff there. he had a lot of glass artwork too, which is really hard to work with and, as for the metal stuff, i think the giant GB symbol covered in little bits of sotter was my favorite.

artwork aside, i think RLAND was pretty amazing. i was very impressed with what they caught on 16 mm.

"drunk people and fragile art don't mix." That's funny to me, and also kind of sad...but man, I learn something new about drew every day. Glass work is really interesting. I've seen some stuff on TV about it and it's pretty crazy.

But it sounds like it was a great time, and I guess something like 450 people turned out for the premiere, which I think is stinking insane. That's huge. Anyway, I'll bet brian did an amazing job and I'm really looking forward to checking out the film...now especially due to this elusive horrell footage.

HOLLA!

Yeah he really did. The venue was pretty tight. Not to hard to find. They had good beer and it was just a good time all around. The film was beautiful. Really captures Orlando.

I loved it. The only complaint I had was they didn't take plastic at the door. Thefunky and I went on a mini adventure to get cash and ended up finding some cold unopened beers in the parking lot. Sorry to whoever they belonged too.. but what were you expecting leaving cold brew in the street? Very Happy

I would check and see if someone on the site could ship it to you. Did you contact me about that before or was that someone else?

Did anyone check www.rlandthefilm.com and see that there is going to be a Jacksonville Beach Premiere? Anyone going to that one? It says there is going to be an appearance by Aaron "Freedom" Reed, kind of funny, I wonder if he is going to have good mustache going for that one.
